Keyword density checker for SEO articles
Paste an article, enter the main and secondary keywords, and see how often each appears, its share of the text and whether it is in the first 100 words. Plus the most repeated phrases.
How to use
- Enter the main keyword and add secondary keywords separated by commas.
- Paste the article text.
- Check the share of each keyword. If one is too dense, swap some for synonyms.
Frequently asked questions
What is a good keyword density?
Google publishes no target. Around 0.5% to 2.5% usually reads naturally. What matters more is that the article answers what the searcher needs.
Can keyword stuffing be penalised?
It can. Google treats forced keyword repetition as spam and may rank the page lower.
Why put the keyword in the first 100 words?
It tells readers and Google straight away what the article is about. It is a good habit, not a strict rule.
