How is reading time calculated?

Word count divided by 200 words a minute, close to on-screen reading speed. Speaking time uses 130 words a minute.

Does it count words in other languages?

Yes. Any text with spaces between words is counted the same way, including accented letters.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
